Poor land barrons have so much land for sale ..look at the grid, by wiping us out the poor lowly open sim user, they might cash in and lindens can centralise operations, performance my arse on open sims, is fine, who invented the old laggy bla bla. seems my year here building up what i wanted to achieve is wiped out in one fowl swoop, already payed alot of money and time to just dump it, how rude!!!!!! and with this crisis our dollar dropped so i effectively pay alot more already.....sighs and shakes her virtual head

not buying on mainland

I am making ti a point to NEVER buy land on the mainland ever again.
Between to overblown cost of land and then dealing with neighbors and ban lines, I'll never go back. I'll rather be homeless than EVER own on the mainland.

Nothing wrong with a soaking up of excess opensims

If you fly around the mainland, you will observe that the vast majority of it is for sale. Prices vary wildly for adjacent parcels. It is easy to find a nice 4096 for under 20,000.
