This probably won't make me very popular here... but I am trying to give a couple of you the opportunity to make some of your investment back. I currently own a full sim, which is about rented to capacity. I intend to, within the next week but certainly before January 5, purchase at least two openspaces... one for my own residence, and one to rent to a friend. These will be purchased with the intent of converting them to homesteads on January 5.
Why do I want to do this now? To beat the price increase. The setup fee will be going up from $250 to $375. Instead of waiting, it makes financial sense to me to get them for the lower setup fee, especially since the two sims will fall well within the spirit of the homestead rules and regs (only one resident, and basically some landscaping etc.).
Now, before I do this, I am making a short term offer. If someone has an OS that they will be abandoning, I would be happy to take if off your hands for a maxinum of $150USD. Why? Because LL will charge me a $100 transfer fee, bringing the total investment to $250USD. Any more than $150 and it makes more sense to just pay LL the $250 setup.
So... if you are interested in getting some of your investment back, let me know. If your morals etc. don't agree with my plan, it's no skin off my back... I will just pay LL their money. I'm not trolling or trying to cause trouble... this is purely business. One way or another, I am going to be buying these sims, and I thought perhaps one or two of you might like this opportunity to give up your OS and make a little bit back.
