Dear "xy Linden" in a forum you say why you close a thread and not just close them, exept you just give a damn about your community.

It just means they are about done letting us vent and the time is coming where they will ban anyone who speaks of OS's again....

This person's been surveying the losses, and on the most recent post in this thread estimates that between 2600 and 2700 sims have been lost so far, even taking consolidations into account.

I think we're done here, with the OS forum. Does anybody have anything NEW to add to the discussion?

That's a lot of question marks. Ok, can you name an instance in the last week in which somebody has added something new: some new ACTUAL insight or information, to further the ACTUAL discussion? If all anybody wants is a presumably endless forum in which to gripe and one-sidedly rehash the same belabored points about injustices and evil and entitlement complexes and Linden-baiting, that's fine, just don't make it something more than it is by declaring it a 'discussion', with all the trappings of a progression of points and a reasoned exchange of views. This isn't a 'discussion' anymore, if it ever even was.

This doesn't get boring for anybody? I knew when it was time to stop rehashing MY tired overwrought points about reading comprehension and ignoring a long and checkered history of evil and injustices and land abuse and entitlement complexes and willful ignorance in the face of fulfilling a desire for getting something for nothing, because obviously it wasn't getting anywhere and it was time to move on. Even though a big part of having a 'discussion' is considering all viewpoints including dissenting ones you don't necessarily agree with.

And that was three weeks ago!

Keep doing your thing if it makes you feel better. Stick it to them Linden! Threaten legal action and call M an unethical ASSHAT again, that'll get the ball to an intelligent exchange of views and eventual mutually-beneficial conflict mediation rolling, I'm sure of it.

Ive been here since 05 - I say when the discussion is closed, NOT YOU ... and it's not closed, just thought I'd throw that in.

You want to end discussions, go be a Neo-Con, they don't discuss.

Yeah, there's the intelligent exchange of views between two adults I was looking for.

If any GROWNUPS wish to have a discussion....

Looks like it's you who's done discussion, but really, if you don't agree with people being upset, just keep your nose out of it, Linden Lab doesn't need any fan bois on their side.

Yeah, opposing viewpoints have no place in a discussion, right?

The daily posting of the steady downfall of LL was new discussion material. Why did they feel the need to close a thread that is reporting their numbers? Numbers they have listed another place on their site.

You say you think the discussion is over, fine. You don't have anyone holding a pistol to your head making you open the OS section, do you? You are entirely free to bow out of the discussion.

Phone Katt's extension in the office and ask her to close it then.

You said as far as you are concerned the discussion is over. So why do you want to stick around and give your viewpoint to a dead discussion?

Thanks!
