I have sacrificed my own personal openspace so I have enough money to cover the increase for the residents of my estate. Even if I say it myself, I think it was a beautiful sim. You can see some pictures at http://www.invascenae.com/abandoned/For information, my part of this openspace used 884 prims and two scripts. My friend in the windmill used another 858 prims and a script to rotate the sails. This is the *personal* side of LL's decision to increase prices. This is a lovely light use sim that I simply can't afford to keep. There are many, many others in the same position. SL is about to lose many special and wonderful places. It is a sad day indeed. |

I looked at the pictures, Stoo and I can see a lot of heart went into the sim. It is beautiful. It is people like you who will loose out with these price increases and that is not fair.
Maybe you should do what many others are doing including myself and look at the alternatives to second Life. Check out Open Simulator Project and in particular, Open Life.
There is always hope.

Hello, I have a flags store "Flexi flags Megastore" on a OS called Flag Factory. I work on flags since I have created my account on SL in january 2007. It takes me 2-4 hours/day to work on my flags, without any benefits because all I earn goes to the pocket of LL to pay the charge of the OS or to pay things in SL. (Flags are not expensives  ) even they are scripted, realistics, etc.) Now, I need to know if the decision of increase the charges is confirmed. I need to know if I can keep my OS for my pleasure or if I have to close it. In this second sadly (?.. sorry for my english) case, I will only sell my flags throught SLX. But things seems not very clear now. Hope LL will take a good & clever decision soon. |

Oh jeez this is like looking at pics of lost puppy dogs..sniff!! Nice pics though...tragic to think that Linden Labs lack of thought and vision will result in the loss of such beauty, peace and tranquility..and all that will be left are ugly Malls and high prim high lag high earning commercial centres.
