Dear Linden:

I like the new pricing scheme because the closure of sims will fix the problems sl has been having with low population density.

That said, your explanation of why you are changing the pricing structure is, as the philosopher H.G. Frankfurt would way, bullshit. You didn't start charging us more when we came up with ways around the distance limits on a tp. You didn't charge us more when we came up with ways to make guns with higher rates of fire. You didn't charge us more when we started building and coding all kinds of other things that you people couldn't even imagine. Why? Because in the past you have never once punished creativity, that's why!

Like I said, I agree with your conclusion. How you got there is wrong. You are punishing us for our creativity by charging us more because we took the resources we could afford and made something useful with it in a way that you didn't predict. This is no way to make policy. I really hope that it's not some new direction from M Linden. I'm never buying land from you people if this goes through because then I have every reason to beleive that you are going to charge me more every time I do something creative with it.

It's not abuse. It's ingenuity.
