Openspace Announcement Due Tomorrow Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 at 11:01 AM by: Jack Linden Over the last week we have been listening to your feedback and working hard to revisit the original announcement. This blog post is just a short message to let everyone know that we’re now close to being able to share our thinking more fully with you. Tomorrow M will post to the blog. The post will be our response to all of the great feedback you have provided and will include details about how we intend to proceed regarding Openspaces. Immediately after the post tomorrow, we will open another forum thread where we will do our best to answer your questions. We understand that many of you are anxious for news, and so I wanted to be sure to let you know that the waiting is almost over. http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/11/04/openspace-announcement-due-tomorrow/

That's funny Jini! Thanks for making me laugh!!! I will just sit here in front of my computer now waiting for the moment that the announcement is made. Oh, in between I must set up my anti-Linden page on five of my websites

This is a bizarre way to go about customer support. Here's a thought, LL...instead of announcing stuff like this on the blog, how about contacting estate owners directly first? You know how to reach us, after all. I didn't appreciate having to perform damage control after some of my renters heard about the original announcement before I did.
Sorry, I'm frustrated and tense today.

I totally agree that LL should have contacted the OS owners rather than relying on a web site announcement then a blog to announce the change. They know who we are and how to contact us. I'm sure there are lots of OS owners still out there who are in for one big surprise turn the end of the year should (hopeful to the end here) this go ahead.
