My last point, and this is for everyone SHOCKED by this increase.
I’ve been saying it for 1 1/2 years that LL was killing Second Life, and no one listened then. I hope now you will listen and see clearly what Linden Lab is doing.
All is not lost yet though. YOU can make a difference, YOU can speak in one loud voice that Linden Lab will be forced to listen to.
This Sunday, should be called BLACK SUNDAY for Linden Lab. Meaning that everyone just leave the Grid for ONE DAY. Live in the Real World for one single day. No money being transferred, no objects being purchased, no people in-world. Linden Lab will hear this, because it hurts their bottom dollar. This is the only way to get Linden Lab to understand WE are serious about saving Second Life.
Don’t abandon those OS’s just yet, because if WE speak in one loud voice, then Linden Lab will notice and know WE are all serious about this and other problems.
This Sunday, just say NO to Second Life. Watch a Football Game, Watch a Euorpean Football Game, go outside for those where it’s going to be nice, if you are in San Fran, make up signs, and go picket the Linden Lab campus. Take the news crews with you, get some notice going. When Linden Lab understands that the almighty press is now involved, they will change their tune. If they don’t, then we all know that Second Life is dead and we need to find a new place to call home.

I think LL having flakey servers earlier this spring (where it was down for couple days) did more "damage" than will this one day protest  |

if everyone walks out then it is the residents who suffer again. Loss of sales. Loss of tips/donations. Etc etc etc. The residents always suffer. I recently invested in a new iMac with the NVDIA geForce 8800 because it was listed as a supported graphics card. Trust me, it is not. Have been in and out of support and they can't do anything about it because they have a problem with the graphics driver. Who suffers? Not Linden! I have an iMac for sale ... going cheap!
Don't buy or rent land. Thats my call. _____________________
