SL please take note...
We all pay good money to you... at the moment.
You're in danger of doing something very extreme to say the least.
'Killing the Goose that laid the Golden Egg' to hike the prices up like you propose then people will leave in their droves..
You'll end up with more than just Open Spaces.. the whole of SL is in danger or being like one giant OPEN SPACE.....
No one will want to pay good money to find that you then want to raise tiers etc by such a huge margin and not enjoy themselves here irrespective of where they live.
Keep OS prices as they are.... Just admit it was an error and go back to how things are at present. You know that people use OS regions to live in etc. admit you made an error and move on.
Some of us have to pay on top of your prices too... I do.. it's called VAT! I had to pay that on top of the actual cost of my new sim.. and to add to that the £/$ is not that great right now.. and I've not even opened it up yet, so in effect I will have to look at what I charge in the way of rentals on my full region... (shopping/houses/club etc being built) or I'll more than likely end up with a huge hole and have to cover the diff.
I know it won't turn a profit.. or even break even for a while and you have basically put paid to my plans of having my OS region next to my new full region with your proposed price increase. I may have to drop the OS region and just have the Full Region on it's own and then save up to get another one to do what I want. Will you then push prices up again as people move to full prim sims, citing loads on servers causing you problems etc etc.
IT people claim you are just blowing hot air when you give your reasons..
Please rethink your plans... Don't raise prices..
