Currently, an openspace region purchase price is USD$250, while a regular private region is USD$1000. Thus it makes sense why the conversion ratio is 4x1.
After January, a homestead region will cost USD$375, while the private region cost will remain the same. But as I understand it, LL will go back to charging a USD$100 conversion fee to convert 4 homesteads into 1 private region. This no longer adds up--
4 * $375 = USD$1500
So we will now be losing USD$500 worth of value in the conversion process. The least we could get for that is a free conversion.
LL, please consider waiving the USD$100 conversion fee forever.

If someone wants a full sim they wouldn't buy 4 OS and then convert them, they'd just buy the full sim. The conversion would be business decision most commonly made by estate owners that the value of the Full sim is greater than the 4 OS. Why should LL give away services for free so others can make money off it?
