We care enough to trust you and invest in the world you create for us.
We care enough to invest out lives and create dreams here.
And all you care about are our $$$.
It really sucks to have the memories of closeness with so many of you Lindens only to have you screw us over repeatedly time and time again as if you never knew us, never came to us for advice, never came to us for help.
I am too scared to keep our island Ninbriana because i am afraid you will raise the Island Tier price. If Island Tier is increased, we will not be able to sell our home sim and will lose everything we have put into it, $1675, our home and our store, everything, and have nothing to show nor the money to even buy on mainland.
You are hurting us LL, and it sucks badly, i've created history for your world and you create grief for mine.

Yea, I still can't figure out how or why LL handled this so badly. Either they really want to piss a lot of people off, or they're just...incompetent?
Hmmm....

The real fact is they don't give a fecal deposit for the SL community, because they know absolutely nothing about it.

The real "face it", they are killing the golden goose. We, the consumers, have given them a wonderful income....but like all liberals, they want more and more for no effort. Unfortunately, looking at the history of this incident, they are starting to lay traps for us. Totally unethical ones at that.

Exactly, that's the incompetent part--they don't know their customer base.

Perhaps we can discern a pattern and avoid the next one. Seriously.

a LL trap is evidenced by the requirement that you pay them money for something. i went premium after being assured by the sl website that i would get 'firstland'. after i joined i learned that the firstland product they were promoting had been discontinued months earlier. so i bought up mainland... my mainland sims tanked in value ($10/m down to $4/m)due to LL's great land dump, my island decreased in value from $1700 to $1000 before LL even delivered it to me, they told me they were making it up to me by giving me an OSS setup cost free, now i cant even give it away... i reckon islands are worth little more than $300-400 today. ll fuck me over at every opportunity. now bri is wanting me to go buy mainland again and i really am having a hard time justifying buying anything at all. i will be abandoning the oss today and im looking to unload the island too as i have ZERO trust for ll and property feels like a hot potato anymore. Yep, you can definitely see a pattern there...offer something for a set price, then change the product or the price as soon as a number of people shell out the bucks for it. I do believe that SL is, in part, an experiment--I've actually proposed that there tag line should be "It's REFRESHINGLY Beta!"--and part of experimenting is changing variables to see what happens. Or, it could just be a variation of what is known as "bait and switch." The pattern is definitely there.

We are now just waiting for the announcement full sim tier to rise and your right LL will screw us over whenever they get the chance. They have a captive market at the moment and upper management wants to milk us at every opportunity im sure. Well im sure that other places will become in the not to distant future competitors to SL. So what I save here i will invest elsewhere and help them gain a better foothold and maybe present a viable alternative as if LL done it then someone else can now.
