As a few people know I provide Open Spaces to people wishing to own their own islands without the cost of a full region and do so at my cost price, naturally the purchasers of these regions are reminded that the open spaces are for light use and are by no means for industrial purposes.
With the announcement of a blanket cover tier increase for open spaces I have contacted the people whom own open spaces under me and have informed them of an idea I had come up with as a solution to their impending tier fee increase.
The proposition was that they get together by way of a group and discuss with others in the group the potentiality of a mass conversion of their open spaces into full regions and then share the costs and the island.
I just though that I'd share this with you in case you hadn't thought of it by yourself, Linden Lab charges a once off fee of USD$100 to convert 4 x open spaces into a full region and the tier then changes from 4 x USD$75 to USD$295, this is a great option for those who can't afford the tier increase but who also do not want to walk away from their initial purchase price of USD$250.
