"1/4 sim, 16'384 sqm, 937 prims, buy for 999 L$, tiers 1'850 L$ per week. You do not need a premium account. Residential or commercial. No convenant. Please contact Leeloo Tripsa"
Been going on for a long tine and LL has done nothing. Note how the language has gone from "performance" terminology to "value" in the latest blog posts too. Fair enough, the product failed. About time someone fessed up and offered some actual customer care, or someone else stood up and started targeting folks like the guy in the quote above. Some of us actually have forests and convenants and don't use open spaces for commercial uses. While others openly sell them as "anything goes" yet it's ALL of us being told to pay the price.

No sorry, no dice. The boom that led to so many people wanting to rent an openspace was based around people like the person you quoted and you're not seriously trying to tell me Linden Lab didn't know what was behind the boom are you? When they were gleefully blogging about the boom in July are you seriously telling me they didn't know how they were being used?
They were being rented out when they were voids ffs.

I erm, didn't say anything of the sort. My point was, the open spaces have long been sold as anything but what they were "apparently" intended for. It's happening right as we speak, while LL talk about new rules, regulations and steeper prices, the same people who are apparently "ruining" the experience for others, are still at it. While we are spoon fed lies about performance issues, when the real issue is value for money, and we're not the ones bettering from the deal, at least with the new prices. http://openlifegrid.com Much cheaper sims, same technology. Wonder how they are making ends meet when LL apparently isn't at their current pricing.

Apologies I misread your points. Someone else made the point that the so called abuse isn't going to go away based on the price increase. Which is pretty damn obvious, some guy at Jack's meeting asked if he pays the extra $50 is he still ok to use his openspace as a club!
