why i dont get a awnser on my abuse report that the 4the time i do abuse without any anwser ((

Based on recent experience... it's taking Linden Labs about 3 - 4 weeks to investigate and take action on abuse reports.

FYI - all they will do is confirm that they have received the complaint. They do not follow up with you later and tell you what action, if any, they have taken. So if you are waiting to hear something about that... you'll be waiting a very very very long time.

Abuse reports aren't there for you to get an answer to a question. The AR system only exists so that you can report TOS violations to LL so that they can respond on their own terms and enforce set policy. (=_=)

If it's an answer you're after or a solution to a problem affecting you; use the support page and submit a help ticket. (^_^)y

I know a person who gets threatened with abuse reports all the time but doesn't care, because nothing ends up happening to him because an investigation is non-existant.

Not sure about the content of the AR, but "people steal your money" seems to indicate that this is a commercial dispute between residents (the OP and someone else). As a matter of policy, LL will not intercede in these cases, no matter how many ARs are sent.

If this is something that affects other residents, you can encourage them to file, too. Several reports on the same incident from different people seem to get answered quicker and taken more seriously than one.

For what it's worth, I've personally witnessed Lindens swooping in in response to abuse reports and summarily dealing with the abusive content and abuser. They do act. But you don't get a lot of feedback.

Basically, yeah. If what's being reported is clearly a TOS violation; a Gteam Linden will be on the way quite quickly. They're not required to give any details on their actions, and, they don't promise to do so. All they do is enforce the TOS/CS based on their interpretation of the situation and the report. That can be a good and bad thing. I know. I've been there on both sides of the coin. (=_=)

The system is rubbish theres no other way of describing it... the person accused doesn't know who's accusing them (or what they've done) and the person doing the accusing gets no feedback or indication as to what action has been taken.

If the system wasn't anonymous to both sides I don't see how it would work... a griefer gets told that their account has been disabled because of an AR from X.. so they set up an alt and grief the hell out of X even more?

X gets told the punishment to Y but decides that's not good enough so sets up an alt to cause trouble....

Whenever I've ARd something visible it's almost always been fixed, and pretty quickly... I have no reason to suspect "non-visible" things aren't dealt with similarly.

simple report the alt too...and keep on reporting em....
