Your Accound will not be available unitil 2008-11-03 05:18:46 Pacifilc Time. STRONG SUGGESTION: get on another computer and change your password NOW 2 Possibilities for why you are getting this message. 1. The SL system did not fully log you out last time you logged out. It Happens sometimes. 2. Someone has your password and your AV really WAS logged in - by someone else. THe possibility even if it is remote of #2 would make me find a friends machine and change my password. THen run every antivirus and spyware thing I could find.

Sheesh ... relax ... lol Its a SL bug ..happens to everyone from time to time no big drama .. IF somone else is logged in to your account and you try and log in it will disconnect them ...Being told that you cant log with that type of messge just means that the server has not yet logged you out ..Nothing more /me hands you the paranoid pills

WHat you call paranoid I call prudent.
I do know several people who have had their accounts hacked one way or another. An that is exactly the message they got. When it comes to protecting accounts I prefer safe than sorry.
My advice comes with additional advice. Change passwords frequently but at irregular intervals. Use prepaid visa gift cards to protect your bank account and/or credit. And dont keep large sums of L$ or US$ on your account.
It has happened before in SL and in many other online environments. Scoff if you like but I prefer safe to sorry.

THe possibility even if it is remote of #2 would make me find a friends machine and change my password. THen run every antivirus and spyware thing I could find. If someone was logged into your account, when you log on, THEY get disconnected, and they get this message. "You have been logged out of Second Life.: The system has logged you out because you are attempting to log in from a different location". You can test this with the multiple icons. Log yourself on, and then log yourself on again. What efi would have seen is this message. "Login failed, region has begun the logout process. Please try logging in again in a minute". That message is the same one you see when you log back in and your AV is "ghosted", that is SL "forgot" to log you off, which can happen at times. I know that message is confusing, and looks as if the system is doing maintenance on the sim, but really what happened is that your AV didn't log off SL properly (system still sees it online, or it IS online). Just log back on again, and the system will recognize you, and log you in normally. This is set up this way, I assume, because sometimes you are logged in at work, perhaps (BAD SL user BAD!!!), and you forget to log out. So when you get home, you log on, the system does NOT give you a message "your account is already online" and block you from logging in, it logs the previous account out, and you get to log on (on the next attempt). So efi would not have been blocked from logging on, he/she/it? would have seen the "Login failed, region has begun the logout Process" message, and had to log back in to get online. NOW if efi WAS online, and saw the first message, "You have been logged out of Second Life" then YES someone else has the password, and is logging on as efi, and take all emergency measures Sincerely, El-Swifto
