I bought an OS SIM and I settle home there, I don't have scripts running, except from the normal ones (windows, doors, waves, birds, fishes), that are use to have a real beaty environment, and all that wiht less than 2000 prims, wasn't that the original goal?, to make beauty the environment?.... to create spaces to enjoy?. Normally are 2 avis in WHOLE SIM, my wife and I. Just one time I had more avis in SIM... my wedding day... that day I had, including me, 12 avis in the WHOLE SIM for 4 hours. Is that HEAVY use?, is that so resouce consuming that LL needs to raise the price?, if yes, then, I am with the wrong provider, with the wrong supplier, because that is what they are. We all pay for a Premium Account for a level of service. Contract that is not followed too close by LL since all weekends are problems with Grid, a lot of times are problems with construction proyects, and with every new version of software they build, they ask us for new hardware to support their software (more memory, more video card, more processor, nore, more, more....), and yet, service is not as good as they charged.
I don't have time to build a lot of things and so, I go and buy them. I have invested a lot of money in SL just to think that I will need to abandon my SIM, because prices will raise and I won't be able to pay it anymore, and so, a lot of things that I bought to have fun will be permanently in my inventory, waiting to see light again, or worst, forever in shadows, wasting more money.
I believe that LL are trying to have more money from us, for them. I want to believe that when they create the OS SIM they created a bussiness case and evaluated all risks, including that this SIMs could succeedd. If they created it then, they know and expected this, and so, they are selffhish and are just trying to earn more money, on the contrary, if thay didn't create a bussiness case, then, they are constructing without any plan at all, and then, they are not clear wath tomorrow will bring. In either case, we are in hands of amateurs that are trying to fill their pocket with OUR money, without any thing in change.
This is my believing.... I hope LL reconsider this matter, and, before they raise prices, they could raise level of service.
