actualy it is 4 per core 4 cores per server, a litle confusion LL keeps active, anyway, everytime a sim restarts it will move to another core so even if you find out who the other sims are they might change by the time you get hold of the owner, technicly LL can make that list but becouse it is not very usefull they don't

I'm speculating a bit here but if you check unde help>about sl you can see sim number and ip number the sim is on, logicly I would asume the 16 sims on the same server have a block of 16 sim numbers and either 4 or 16 share the sime ip number, offcourse you can only find this info by visiting a sim, not a very easy way to find other sims on the same server.

Thx Abigail for your responce
Yes i know, 4 cores per server it's logic ;)

I ask this because those who want to buy another openspace, it would be good if it's on the same server to better manage the lag or overloading.

personally if I should buy a openspace, I would prefer that it be on the same server, if I can choose ofcourse ^^

So not listing exist :(

Thank you very much Abigail

I don't think it's the case.. each SIM should have it's own IP address, the process should be "binded" to it's own IP. I may be totally wrong... but that is how *I* would manage it (for a series of technical reason....). :D

Every time a sim restarts it lands on a different physical server (and, very rarely, will land at a different co-location facility). There is a web site called "sim neighbors" which is the only way I've seen to tell who your server neighbors are, but its data requires frequent updates from people wearing a special HUD in-world.

http://neighbours.maxcase.info/index.php

I have successfully used the site to identify laggy server neighbors in the past. Of course the remedy is to simply restart the sim and hope your new neighbors aren't so laggy.

Also note that homesteads will only be with other homesteads of the same class (4 on a core, 16 on a server), and regular sims only with regular sims of the same class (1 on a core, 4 per server).
