where can i find the old RC1.22 viewer since the new one isnt working good for me, i go to the download page and it only gives me the new viewer

Try refreshing the page, the 1.22.11 viewer is the one that's on there now.

Does that mean they couldn't fix the showstopper bugs (i.e. skin rendering) and pulled 1.23 altogether? I don't see any blog post beyond "1.23 now available".

It was taken out of circulation, but they haven't done a forced downgrade like has happened with some older RCs.

1.22 is the *current* viewer.
1.23 is the new one, that was briefly available as a release candidate. _____________________
