The RC download page is still serving 1-20-14-92115.
I am current on Second Life 1.21.0 (94415) Aug 14 2008 15:18:57 (Second Life Release) But the login screen is offering me "VIEWER UPDATE AVAILABLE - Download Version 1.20.15.92456" which, according to the version numbers, is a downgrade not an update.
Is the version documented here different to The Beta and the version offered on the login screen?
Something has gone horribly out of sync here. Have these pages just been set up well in advance of the release or am I just looking in the wrong place?

We're just getting the documentation ready for a release later today. You got to see us getting it all ready. Coming soon through the normal channels... the downloads page will be updated as soon as 1.21 RC0 is ready to launch!

1.21.0 94415 is the beta grid viewer. If you're using that, you are on the experimental beta grid. Your L$ are even less real than they are on the main grid. The current main viewer is 1.20.15. Download it with the big yellow Download Second Life Now button. The version shown in First Look appears to still be the 1.20.14 release candidate that immediately preceded the offical release of 1.20.15. [EDIT: Until Ramzi and the team get the new stuff posted, anyway]

From: Lindal Kidd 1.21.0 94415 is the beta grid viewer. If you're using that, you are on the experimental beta grid. Hi Lindal, the Beta Viewer is perfectly capable of running on all grids and I have been freely hopping between them for the past 2 weeks getting my scripts ready for the release of MONO. If you want to try it some time press ctrl-g at the login page and you get a new dropdown box allowing you to select the Grid you wish to use. From: Ramzi Linden We're just getting the documentation ready for a release later today. You got to see us getting it all ready. Thanks Ramiz, I guess we are all just so exited about getting MONO at last that we are so impatient.

At least on some machines, like mine, it seems to want ctrl-shift-g. I've also heard people says it's ctrl-alt-g but I think they were just wrong. Regardless, it's a neat trick that can be done with some combo of ctrl/shift/alt and g.

Please post your questions to the "1.21 RC0 is available" thread above so Ramzi doesn't have to hunt through other threads for questions! Thanks! I'm locking all other threads in this forum so that the questions don't pile up in multiple locations, thanks very much for your understanding and cooperation everyone! It's this one: /349/3f/279139/1.html
