Dont know if I've posted this before, but since the "upgrade" when I mute people, only their chat is muted.
Most of the time I mute people because their attachments and scripts lag me down. This is defeated now as they all remain in their boggifying glory.
If there's a JIRA for this let me know. I couldnt find one in search, only where chat was not blocked. I seem to have the opposite problem.

The avatars will only get blocked out if avatar impostors are switched on in the graphics preferences. Is that how you have it set up?

I mean, just to be sure some disriptive avatars remain out of sight, everyone else has to look crummy beyond a short distance?

have you tried derendering them? i do that a lot. not sure if its only on the emerald viewer.
