i always like to use the Rc viewer as for soem reason i seem to get less lag with it than i do with the main viewer.. but this new RC takes the biscuit.. ive nevber really had problems with the RC before.. but i have loooads now.. i have speech bubbles turned on.. but now, i only see the chat if im facing the person... before, it kinida follwed me if i looked away... this is pretty annoying... also, when i right click something now, it still stays hilighted, even when i let go of it, and im left there with my little edit beam going form my hand to the object, even though im not editing it also, somethign freaky seems to have happeend with the camera... when i try to focus on soemthign closely, it doesnt seem to focus where i want it to dont even get me started on the pie menu... damn.. that felt good.. its not often i complain about somethign in ehre... i think i need to do it more btw... please try to ignore the typos.. its midnight and im tireed

Uh. That's the point of the RC. It's not meant to be liked. It's meant to be out there, bug tested by the community, and reported on in the Jira. (^_^)y

One might think, however foolishly, that new series of RC's would be an improvement on the last. Not so here it seems as we get, again, more problems than resolution. The last two releases have been unusable.

Yes... False dreams. Maybe these things would improve if people took RC problems to the Jira instead of the forum where they basically have a 50% chance of being read compared to the 0% chance here. (=_=)
The concept of an RC working at all beyond the developer's environment is typically luck. And I'm not referring only to SL. (=_=)
When an RC is "better than before", that's usually dumb luck for the first 10 iterations or so. When a release is "better than before", that's more often than not due to properly reported and acted upon bugs found in the RC. (=_=)

The last two releases have been unusable. Correct me if I am wrong...but rc0 was a flop, and had problems being installed and actually logging in to sl...and rc1, you can at least log in...if thats not an improvement over the first one, I don't know what is. Isn't the whole point of an RC to gather feedback and make changes that will make the user experience better when it goes official? Just wait for the all new, mother of all viewers come out...think you're eyeballs are spinning now...
