My self and several others are nothing but smoke!! no access to appearance, no access to landmarks. cannot load inventory items. what have i done??

Smoke? For me it looks like steam ...
Just wait a bit, or logout and login again ... if nothing helps, try to login in "Hahne". If it still don't work, wait up to the next day.
