SnowGlobe is limited to 2500 line coding

Since the SnowGlobe is meant to be the new Release Candidate, you should be aware that it's limited to 2500 lines of text lines before it starts cutting off the rest of the body of information.

Since my project involves over 15K lines of code spead over a dozen modules, I find it difficult to use or test with.

heh, back to the standard viewer.

Well....

The Standard View is limited to 2500 lines as well...

How about killing the limit if you want LSL to have a serious use as a programming language.

I'm told that scripts are not limited by number of lines of text, but rather by memory.

That's the word from the Scripters of Second Life group.

I believe the LSL approach to the need for lots of code is to break the code up into separate scripts and send link messages between them as needed.

Non-mono scripts are limited to 16k of code and data.

Mono scripts are limited to 64k of code and data.

Satori, it looks to me that you should correct the title of this thread to reflect the fact that it's not actually true, as the previous comments state.

I think we're talking about how much text you can stuff into a script file, not about how big a compiled script can get.

Whatever the number is, it's probably very close to whatever the notecard limit is.
