Okay this most likely will be a long message, but i have kept myself silent for a while already now, i asked support from a linden i saw online, but he ignored me ._.
First, the adult content, thats new, on the website i confirmed myself to be a adult, i even added a picture of my ID card as asked if it didnt work, and the page said, it got confirmed, but on the client on my mothers computer, the newest updated, the adult content is greyed out.. now i dont care that much, but i do go to bdsm places at time, which i cant visit anymore now.. so .. can anyone help me with this please?
The other problem is even a bigger issue, ever since i got a new computer, i cant use the newest SL client. I used to use onrez, without trouble, or the original viewer, but with my new computer, i can only use a client called, Cool Client, or Cool Viewer, i aint at home at the moment so i cant look. Soon i log on the original client, with to many people around, it doesnt mather how low i put the settings, i dont crash, but the viewer freezes up every few seconds, it wont stop in anyway, and not just SL freezes, but it lets my compleet music freez, if music is on, it will repeat for a short while, a few seconds, till SL runs again, i cant type, because usually if you type the letters show up later with lag, this isnt lag, because after SL isnt frozen up anymore for those few seconds, the words ive typed never come again.
I seriously would love to get help this way, the Cool Viewer does let me use second life, but i lag terrible, while even tho i freez constantly, second life can run smoothly without the freezing up, almost lag less, so this is a real shame i cant play like this.
You can also upgrade the Cool Viewer to work with windlight, but soon i do this, it freezes up again.
I hope i somehow can play second life again in a normal way, like i used to do when windlight wasnt even here yet.
I use Vista btw, but ive heard Vista users without any trouble.

First, to view adult content, once you verify, you have to enable it in preferences.
You must log on to the SL standard viewer to do so. Then, go to preferences, on the general page there is a rating box. Select 'PG, Mature and Adult'. Save and close preferences.
Then in search, select the mature and adult check boxes in order to be able to search adult places and items as well.
if your secondary music program freezes along with SL, it isnt the client, but your computer. More RAM may take care of that and/or a new video card. The RAM is usually cheaper.

From: Shodaime Kumaki i asked support from a linden i saw online, but he ignored me ._.. 99% of the time, any Linden you see in-world either has nothing to do with support or they have 100 other things going on at once. As annoying as they are, support tickets are usually your best bet.

I suggest you downgrade to the last browser and don't use the new one, until SL fixes all the issues that I, and many others, encountered while using it.

According to LL nudity per se is not "Adult Content". Neither are full body pictures of your skin models (provided they aren't depicted as sexually aroused, or engaging in a sex act). Blondin Linden has said in these forums and at office hours that "skin stores are Mature".

You say you use Vista. Is your internet connection wireless or wired? If it is wireless Vista has a built in feature that automatically sets your wireless to search for a better connection every so many seconds or so. When this occurs it causes lag while it searches for a better connection. If this is your problem send me a PM and I will explain how you can get around this problem
