Hi,
did anybody else notice that some skins have "holes" (transparent spots that should not be where they are) in the latest RC client (1.23.4)?
namely, detour josie, has lots of transparent spots around the eyebrows... is the avatar wears hair you can usually see the hidden prims inside the skull through the holes, with no hair you can actually see the scenery behind the avi.
if the person looking at the "faulty" avi relogs to the stable (lol) viewer the holes go away.
anybody else noticing this?
should i open a jira entry, for all the good it'll do?

there are several jira entries about this, or about something very similar, all of them are closed as "duplicate of (insert another occurence of the same problem)" 0_o

I think it's a side effect of the alpha skin system they are adding, I get the same effect on one of my skins at random logins. Personally, I think it's fun and always look forward to it

Hi, did anybody else notice that some skins have "holes" (transparent spots that should not be where they are) in the latest RC client (1.23.4)? just more of the coding group not keeping notes on what does and does not work I noticed it in my skins several rc's ago obviously no one bothers to keep notes of either the old styly of pen and paper or the current version notepad )) just more sloppy coding, something linden lab is famous for now. |
