I couldn't find a JIRA on this but I'm not good at searching through there anyway, so I wanted to post here on this first.

Here's the problem: It seems that some scripts in attachments aren't running at their correct speed, or are not running/finishing at all. I noticed it on a winged avatar. The wings use alpha swapping to switch between the folded and extended states. In this new RC, pieces don't swap as fast as they used to, or don't swap at all. This is only on this RC, the release client is fine. I'm not sure what types of scripts are affected though, the others on that avatar seemed fine.

It's not related to the scripts, but to the handling of Alpha. I saw the JIRA for it earlier but can't find it now. :\

Ah, that makes more sense! Script execution is server side so it really confused me why a new viewer was doing this. Thanks for the reply. There are two JIRA issues related to alpha:

http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13097

http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-12987

Ad you can find all 1.23 issues here, for anyone else who had trouble finding them:
