How do I go about setting up a date and time for performance?

We at the Isle of Wyrms in the High Fantasy Continent have a tradition of "Dragon Raids" where anywhere from 5 to 50 dragons from Hatchling size to large Dragon size do a tour of a place, usually with the "Adolescent" and "Adult" size dragons chasing the smaller Hatchlings, who demand cookies and act merrily silly and crazy, in a vain attempt to corral them and send them back to the nursery.

We are very strict in our guidelines for the participants as to how silly they can get and do not use "weapons" of any kind or a huge number of particles or let them go where they are not wanted. All our raids have been done with the land/group owners as a joint venture and all have been well received.

I'd like to PM or talk this over inworld before I start planning this as it's *almost* as much work as setting up an event booth (I remember our booth at the SL5B ).

Ooh--this is somethin' I *must* be involved in. Anxiously awaiting details.

I'm a musician / performer in Second Life. Although I'm taking a short break from live work in SL I am interested in performing at BL 08. Also interested in stage building as I'm a builder of sorts.

Act Up Theatre Company and Ivy Falls Talent recently produced "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in a beautifully conceived and executed forest for its set.

We would love to bring to the production to Burning Life. It is a beautiful collaboration of over 20 SL residents, from the art direction, the acting, original music, stage direction, to building, texturing and scripting.

I saw a notice the Burning Life '09 is coming soon. Where's the details?

Since in the spirit of this I'm not planning to plop down premade stuff or something I did another time, I can't possibly post an event, although I definitely plan to include one. That's assuming I get land of course

Or is it that user hosted events wont be considered official or be given stars on their properites or notices when they begin? I thought that was a bit unfair about SL6B.

Moreso here. If this is a by the people for the people communal thing, why would the only events deemed genuine be SL hosted? That's kinda like branding the event, which is kinda against the spirit of... see where this is going?

Update: applied for campsite. Know exactly what daily event to hold. I cant say Except to Dusty maybe, who would have read my proposal at some point.

Yes definitely going to do a daily event at my campsite. Preferably 5-5:30pm SLT. I have a name for it and I know exactly what will happen, which will require audience participation. The outcome will be different every time As soon as there's info to submit events I'll enter mine.
