While I can understand the need to limit positive-height teraforming (ie, stop people making huge spikes on the map), as a sub-terranian dweller, I would rather like to be able to dig deeper (lower terrain) more than presently allowed. Deep holes tend to not be such a problem for visual appearance of the landscape, especially if like me, you cap them with a land-textured prim to build 'underground'.

i agree, while a positive limit is most likley needed to keep the tards from making a 16m2 spike 200m tall i fail to see why almost all of the mainland cannot be dug into
theres old sims that can, islands can so theres no technical reason it cant be done

Agreeing with this. Terraform limits are too strict.

I agree. I love building caves so this can be a great improvement for content creations.

Knowing the trouble Lewis has had trying to flatten out the land the Stratics HQ and Sandbox is in, I can see there being many advantages to an increased terraform limit ... but, as always, there is the risk of people using it to grief their neighbours. However, that shouldn't be a reason not to do it.

Except that it's one more thing to stress the servers? Just a thought.
