Sandbox - A community service

I have been a member of the Mature sandbox and its group for 3 years now, now it seems over; the land past from Anche Chongs Dreamland thru a couple hands now leaves one of SL's premier groups adrift in a sea of pixels .Its hard to justify a sim or an island for just building on or for newbies to try out new products, or as a meeting place for the dis-enfranchized . There's no money in it really. However, Lindens I appeal to you give the Mature sandbox community an island. Its has been a mainstay and a place of learning for many countless toons and in these hard economic times we need more outreach programs to keep our colors from fading.

I feel for you losing you favorite spot but supposing LL created "Mature Sandbox", what makes it different to any other sandbox in SL? Have yopu considered just moving the group to take care of an existing sandbox?
Perhaps if you could find one person willing to front up the cash or even donate an existing OS they are dumping anyway to your group and you could come up with 100 or so people willing to donate $2-5US per month or spare tier to cover tier.
