Alternate SL LZ when home sim offline

During the SL log on process when the avatar's home sim is offline, it would be extremely helpful if SL would alert the user to the offline status and teleport the user to the nearest Infohub or nearest sim that is online. Or, allow the user to select from a list of alternate SL "home" locations in the log on screen.

Many residents have multiple properties that they can go to, or other things they can enjoy (like spending hard-earned L$ in SL!), while their home sim is offline.

Currently if a home sim is offline, the SL log on process eventually times out with no information provided to the user (argh!).

I often think it would be nice to have both a Home and Work location. I know that as soon as Work is added, 90 million people will say "oh but I work in 12 PLACES and I *need* more workspots!" when in fact, they don't need them at all, but still, it would be nice to have Home and then Work as the backup location.

I'd like to see "You've been moved to a nearby sim"....

....actually BE A GEOGRAPHICALLY NEARBY SIM!

Instead of... I log in to, say, Moneta, and end up in, say, Korea 4 which is NOWHERE GEOGRAPHICALLY NEAR Moenta.

Ditto. I've had one account that when that happens logs in to Home (a welcome sim) and another that logs in to a place that was a "last log out" 42,986 log outs ago. All I can figure is that the land was set "allow anyone to Home here" and that account....did.
