I can't BELIEVE I am starting another thread that has at least a tie-in to the gambling ban. But this is, I think, an issue the Town Hall needs to address.

Several posts have complained about LL blocking legitimate payments from clients to contractors or from employers to employees for services rendered, apparently because LL is flagging all transactions over a certain size that don't involve the purchase of merchandise as possible gambling payouts or wagers.

What has LL done to modify their policy in this regard? Or will legitimate payments continue to be blocked "pending investigation"?

I'm not personally affected. But I hate to see my friends doing work and not getting paid for it simply because the transaction somehow looks "suspicious".

One of the companies I freelance for pays me directly through Paypal because the sum is too high.

They can't do anything about that...they aren't even aware.

Is there a 'cap' on in world transactions? or is it just a bug?

The issue is to do with fraud rather than gambling apparently. You can contact LL to get your business white flagged.
