ya ever get the feeling that your just running a maze for the Lindens amusement and datasheets?
with the LL just makeing new policies and baseing them on ficticious community majority arguments, the constant updates with flaws, the lack of a fully functioning system. im begining to feel that SecondLife isnt a game at all, but in reality a human testing bed to see how communitys interact, and how humans can mesh into multiple communitys. everything that happens w/in the system that the LL throw at us, either good or bad, is just a new modifier for the experiment. with two different grids along with RL, one has to wonder which grid is the control group and which grid is the real experiment?
am i the only one who feels like this? or is this something that more people are starting to become aware of?
if im right, i'd love to see the data collected thus far, it would be a very very interesting read as to how society works en-mass.
hey LL, if you can hear me... squeek squeek, wheres my damned cheese?

From: Coujo Thatch ya ever get the feeling that your just running a maze for the Lindens amusement and datasheets? No, not really. I can log out of SL, it'd be harder to get out of a maze.

no, Coujo, you're not the only one. i have occassionally found myself wondering what the 'Research' part of their official corporate name 'Linden Research Inc.' actually stands for.

Note: The Matrix, as people understand the term as how it is percieved from the inside and outside harks back to 1976 and an episode of Doctor Who. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_%28Doctor_Who%29
