The banned area that's always amused me is Mitch Kapor's ban-line protected "Level Playing Field" parcel.
Only the privileged elite can participate in the "Level Playing Field". It's just perfect.  _____________________

Considering the number of private Linden regions on private Linden grids one wouldn't think it would be necessary to fence these parcels off. Are we so terribly bothersome?

Yup,that we are,and if you arent a paying one,theres very little for you.Other than just decorating your avatar and chatting.Ive been inworld for two months now,and it isnt easy to do anything else.Life's even a little rougher than IRL(In real life)Most rentals are by the week,so if you have a fixed income,you have to make sure youll have enuff to pay that way.People,if you want a world where you can live,add things,create,..all for free,..choose Morrowind or Oblivion.Anything you want to do here you can do there for free,but for making real money.If you need to buy things imworld,there's a ton of ways to make money,or find it.Caverns,crates,just hunt for the money.Or do quests for rewards,and sell the items you get.
If you want to make friends,create a really cool avatar,for less,and have a home too,try World of Warcraft.Yes,you pay monthly,only $14.99,..but theres homes for you,people,and no land purchases,etc.They're all free.Plus.the people there dont flame you for being a noob,..well mostly all of them.Theres always that one beholefluy,huh? |
