Why don't you just say clearly: We can't recover your files... and doesn't care!
Don't ask yourself why you have more and more bad articles in the media. We put all we have into our creation and they can suddenly disapear just like that with no responsability from your part for your bad hardware and programming.... I'm sorry, the problem is on YOUR side. Example? I loose 10% of the textures that I use in my products. Those textures was there since so many weeks with no problem... now they are just Missing Image. Some items that were in my inventory and my vendors since month are now just Missing from the database. What I have to do now? Take 2 or 3 weeks to redo all my jewels... But I'm damned cause maybe they will disapear again sometime and will have to redo everything again and replace thousands of customers who will see their jewels broken.
The worst thing in all that is that your customers care is so so so bad, that it's almost incredible! Your support ticket is so baddly done that I'm seriously thinking that it was made by someone with no skill in customers care. It's good to know that the work is in process, but just that? Not enough at all. If I leave my car to the garage and that I don't have any news about what is the problem after over a week, if it can be fixed or not and when it should be completed... It's not what I can call good customers service.
And I even add some comments in my ticket 3 times, but nothing more. Even if the problem go worst and worst each day to the point that our store is now CLOSED!!! We were suposse to launch a new collection on sept. 30th, we have worked on that launch for about 3 months, but the inventory problem have destroyed everything. And don't tell my about your marvellous trick of clearing up the cache... Your problem is more serious that that...
And you didn't do anything at all to help us to protect what we creating. No possibility of back-up, no possibility of restoring. Silly! Why don't we have a feature that when we click on a missing texture file, we have the possibility to re-upload it? So we will be at least able to recover our texture files without having to redo everything cause it will have the same UUID. And I'm sorry to let you know that even if you think that you have no responsability at all for all the loose in the grid (read your forum to have an idea how epidemic it is) and even that is in the TOS, if someone someday take the decision to sue you for their lost, I really think that you maybe loose you case in court. Cause you will have to prove that you have done everything possible to protect the grid against that or/and do everything to have a kind of restoring system, and I'm convinced that you will not be able to prove that... sorry. So I'm waiting the day that a big corporation will come into the game, sell their things and see their inventory gone for nothing... They will rock you and so many people on the grid will be so happy!
Since a year I had a good experience in SL, but since then you put me in a real nightmare... Don't you aware that some stores are closing their doors and many other experiencing big inventory problem? What are you waiting to fix your problems? That we, the Citizens, decide to league us to put financial and public relation pression on you? ...Mmmm... that can be a very good idea...
