Why has Linden Labs moved its billing offshore? Its causing issues with domestic accounts which are ongoing and frustrating. Case in point, this is the second round of this same problem in 3 weeks.

Update my credit card info. Tells me if you proceed, your old information will be erased and unrecoverable. Ok find, that card is expired anyway which is why I need to update it. But when I get to the next part their offshore billing company Global Charges informs me that its impossiable to process my information. A call to the billing support line askes me to choose my language, and I am connected to a German who politely tells me that their system is unable to process my card and it will have to be done manually. I need to open a ticket. Say what? Last year there was no issue with my MasterCard. What the problem. No 666 in the number perhaps? I try to open a ticket and find myself in endless loop hell. Enter password, loop... enter password, loop... enter password. Some one has their head where the sun don't shine. This needs to get fixed and fast. Maybe its time to keep american business in america. At least when it was, I didn't have the problems like I am having now.
