I am not sure if this is the right place, but if its wrong I'm sure it can be moved, however I believe this to be an issue that needs to be looked at. (Also if there is another thread/forum my bad).
I believe the conference chat and group chat functions need to be reviewed by the developing team at Linden Labs. Currently these functions are bugged to the point of barely working at all. 2 minutes ago I tried creating a conference chat between 3 people who could not be in the same place at once and the chat never started. On the very unlikely chance that conference chats do get started, there are additional problems that make it almost impossible to carry a normal conversation. Such as immense chat lag, black holes (meaning some messages are never even received by others in chat), and other various problems.
Group chats are almost always coming up with error messages and are definitely not working correctly. Sometimes group chats take place and some users are not even aware as they receive none of the messages. These are NOT problems introduced with the new client and Havok 4 system as I have recognized these problems/bugs since July of last year.
It is my simple request that these problems be looked into and something is done besides a simple add to the Jira. These are very important functions to myself and I am sure many others.
