Linden Labs condones and support Extortion!

Linden labs TOS and the current interpretation thereof absolutely condonesand supports legalized extortion! I have a list of half dozen or more residents that have been harrased and extorted by the very same person in the very same sim and when we/I decided to take action by turning the same tactics on him he was using on all of us I had my accout suspended for 3 days without so much as a warning or a IM from a LL representative. No inworld visit to asses the problem and no inquiries were ever made to the other victims to see if the same thing being reported by me was also happening to the others I have made contact with!

In short don't buy mainland land and don't be fooled into buying an island either!
DON'T BUY LAND anyplace! In fact i recommend that everyone not tied to SL by an economic motive make use only of the free account and DONT BUY ANYTHING!

There is so much free stuff in world anyway just use it and let the economy of SL collapse which is happening anyway and the Lindens know it which is why they are now offering the tech to businesses and schools for enterprise and development solutions! They are shifting their business model from a user grid to all private commercial and non profit agencies where the real money is and sooo much less headaches like gambling and child play and lawsuits for everything under the sun!

I'm sure this thread will get clipped for posting the name of the user Hugo Plessis in world that is doing all the extortion but at this point i don't care! Hopefully by the time it happens many of you will read this and if even one of you avoids the guy or even better if any of you have the same experience with the person then PLEASE file a Abuse Report as soon as possible!

Don't let him continue his illegal activities and by all means send the Lindens a mountain of complaints concerning this person! Thank you all for the support you have showm me during this battle and if anyone else wishes to send me IMs regarding this person or similar activities by anyone else please do!

I hope everyone in the entire real world that has suffered these kind of incidents will all join the site for free and post your particular problems there! Unlike this one I will absolutely allow the mention of the persons names that are doing all this stuff to us!

But there is one problem from though, larger companies are learning the hard way about how LLABS does business ( just like us the users of sl ). There is a big change coming soon. I can feel the sence in my tail. And this is not some small change either.

Very funny stuff Malachi! 3000 posts to the forum! Why don't you spend as much time in world as you do entertaining yourself with blasting people in the forums and you might actually have a clue! And YES you are exactly correct, I have done something I don't want happening to me! I actually did the EXACT same thing (minus the verbal abuse the acusations of stalking the baning of every visitor to the neighbors houses etc.) the abuser is doing to me and everyone of his neighbors! And if you ever do go inworld instead of just flaming people in the forums you are welcome to go see the abuses for your self just try taking a strol through the Nuyanui sim!

As for you Abigail, just venting? Saying nothing? No details? What you are witnessing is the built up frustration over an ongoing and systematic griefing attack taking place in Nayunui and from what I can tell most likely allover the grid from te same person whos name i did post! If you want more detail then I encourage you to go to Nuyanui and simply IM all the landowners in that sim to see if they all tell the same story of abuse from the very same person and saying the exact same lies!

Teleporting in to your own lot because the abuser has fenced everyone in, does not give reason to agressivly attack the residents in IM. Building ugly walls to the sky and beyond, and placing huge boxes and other items to the clouds and beyond at the very edge of the lot lines that are not phantom and not transparent on one side and then contacting the residents by Im and telling themif they dont like it they can buy the lot at a incredible price is just plain EXTORTION PERIOD! Acusing the residents that make contact in a friendly maner to try to adress the issue of stalking and harassment are all just part of the planned and oraganized extortion plan!

When I say ugly walls and boxes I am not talking about a poor builder or an adfarm! I am not talking about an unwanted business or a poorly designed home or building! I am talking about land not beig used for anything except the extortion! There is no house or busiess or ads or anything there! I am talking about a deliberate and obvious attempt to extort the residents into either buying his land for a ridiculous price or abandoning their land so he and his fellow conspiritors can then snatch it all up at auction is pure and simple EXTORTION!

I will come back with flames of my own if anyone wants to blast me in here without going out to the site seeing the problem and talking to the neighbors who all have the same story! We all never even knew each other until the trouble he has caused us all forced us to make contact with each other in an attempt to find a solution or at least some confirmation of our grief! Go there and see for yourselves or keep quiet!

Except for the people involved in similar activity and other approved scams I am certain there are hundreds if not thousands of residents that have or are having the same issues allover the grid! PLEASE help us all by reporting any activity that you feel is a direct attempt to force you off your land or to purchase land you don't want. Further, for your own good avoid contact with Hugo Plessis and by all means people PLEASE do go to Nayunui and see the problem for yourselves!

Extortion in any form is a crime! Period! This isn't lillipops we are talking about it is real money and anyone using these tactics and harassment should not only have their account suspended forever but criminal charges should also be filed and the plaintiff should be the Lindens!

However since they are aware of the problem, choose to do nothing about it and in fact suspend the very people trying to protect themselves and their fellow residents from this kind of activity then I feel they should be included in the complaint as co conspiritors and the interesting thing is,.. SO DO MY LAWYERS! In fact since there is also money involved it seems there could be a class action suit brought as well so if you or anyone you know has been a victim of this particular individual then please contact me!

Go to the Nayunui sim and see for yourselves or stay out of the discussion!

Thanks for the invitation. Next time, it would help if you spelled the sim name "Nayunwi" as it is more accurate.

The only thing I saw amiss in Nayunwi were megaprims with rude messages on them extending across the border from the adjoining sim. Keep up the good work; I'm sure those have done wonders to reduce tensions.

And they will stay there until the dispute is resolved or my acount is suspended permanently! Not only that but all the surrounding neighbors also put up similar objects in retalliation for the continued grief we are all suffering. However once i was suspended I contacted the other residents and told them to take theirs down fo fear of unfair repercussions also levied on them!

"I am already in deep $@#%$ and taking the full force of the punishment so just take yours down and let me be the point man on this! If I am permanently suspended then one of you or all of you can decide whether or not the fight is worth continuing. "

The visual evidence of the grief being suffered there may not be obvious to a blind mouse (or an alt of the offender) but to anyone with the interest and motivation to discover the truth, just contact the surrounding neighbors.

If i was able to log in i would be happy to cut and paste the entire conversations had between not only myself but several of the other residents that have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this person. IT IS SHOCKING and disgusting that the experience we all had was repeated over and over again as if the offender was followig a pre written script! PURE AND SIMPLE PREMEDITATED EXTORTION! The evidence is voluminous!

Just ask around and the point is crystal clear!
