Invariably, when I want to see what is happening on Second Life at any moment, I have to wade through a lot of what I call spam events. Advertisements for areas that aren't actually holding events, just want you to come and visit or shop or play games. And they post the same thing every hour or so. You go there, and they are not holding anything special that they aren't holding 24/7. To me, that is not an event, that is just spam.
It makes it very hard to find actual happenings of limited duration.
As an example, go into search, click the events tab, and put in the word "sexbelt" under search terms. You will see the same "event" posted every three hours. This is not an event, it is an ad.
Is there any way to prevent this abuse of the events search?
