You suggest that we ask questions.
The only question I have at this point is, "Why not just give us answers?" You know what the problem is. You know what our questions are.
There is something suspicious about this process of asking us for questions. It brings to mind Gravity's Rainbow..."if they can get you asking the right questions they don't have to worry about the answers".
We submit questions, you prepare appropriate answers for the questions for which you have convenient answers.
But we all know what the real questions are here.

Ah, yes, the answer is easy enough, but what is the question? From: Tegg Bode 22km's $4.99 at Crazy Clarks 198kw in the petrol version 3.30pm on Tuesday And the doctor doesn't kill the bad guy after cutting his kidney in Lost. That's the answers to the real questions..... Now where's my towel? I support Neals real question, what is the point in asking more questions? The most important one is being asked: "can we expect stabilty anytime soon?" and has yet to be addressed. Why ask for more questions, get this one answered first. /thank you for your time /Nouar out p.s. What will happen first: will we hit the shoe shop event horizon, or go straight into SMEF?

From: Nouar DeCuir The most important one is being asked: "can we expect stabilty anytime soon?" and has yet to be addressed. No, no. The most important one is can we expect sculpted prims anytime soon? Come on, you know you want to be distracted for a while

I have to agree...the questions have always been the same...

Asking us for questions...Now???
We have been asking the same question for months and months...when will we have platform stablitity, when will we be able to rely on the foundation of the system...?
To ask for questions now, is basically opening the door to subterfuge...this will, as always engender the few questions about features...the gee whiz things the ops people are so keen on providing...and allow you to shift the focus from the questions that you should be answering from the hundreds of posts in the blog...WHEN WILL WE HAVE A RELIABLE PLATFORM????
Let me tell you a little story about "new features"...Once upon a time...(dont they all start like this?) there was a man with a car...he wanted to sell his car...but no one would buy it because the engine was shot, and the transmission was stripped...and it wouldnt start. So this man....(let's call him Linden, shall we?) said to himself..."How can I sell my car?".
Thinking long and hard, Linden then started asking every potential buyer what he should do to make his car more sellable to them...and they all answered the same..."Gee Linden, try fixing the engine and transmission."
So Linden thought some more..and then made a momentus decision...he had listened to all of the advice and decided what he would do to make his care more sellable...
he stuck a gong on the hood of the car...and glued a flute to the steering wheel, and then tried to sell the car again....with no success. So he again asked his potential customers..."Gosh, the car has a gong, and you can play with it's flute, why wont you buy the car? What can I do to make you want the car?" To which they all answered (again) "Gee Linden, try fixing the engine and transmission." Eventually, Linden had to give up trying to sell the car, because no one wanted a car that didnt run...it now sits on blocks in his backyard, while other WORKING cars are out there on the highway.
The moral of the story is..."You can stick on all the bells and whistles you want...but if the car don't run...they ain't gonna help"

good analogy... but the car is still running, isn't it? Running like crap, belching black smoke to the sky, backfiring every time it slows down, getting 2 miles to the gallon and occasionally breaking down, but it still gets us from A to B.
In that analogy, what do the cars that run that are sitting in the driveway represent? Surely not There or the rest...

From: Neal Nomad We submit questions, you prepare appropriate answers for the questions for which you have convenient answers. People, we all know the outcome of this. I can hear the corporate lawyers now: Give them one hour and 45 minutes, keep them orderly, blog it and then go back to what you were doing. I do hope the Open Letter Project has a follow-up plan to this pat on the head.
