Turning on Atmospheric Shaders kills water in Windlight

When Basic Shaders are on with Atmosphere Shaders off, my water is pretty.

When Basic Shaders are on with Atmosphere Shaders on, my water reverts to the nasty not so pretty water.

So basically, when Atmosphere Shaders are on to make my sky pretty, my water doesn't want to be pretty.

What's my problem?

edit: this is my first post evar!

try setting your water reflections on... also... does your graphics card support vertex shaders?

It's the same whether or not water reflections is on with atmospheric shaders on. Water reflections does work when atmospheric shaders is off though.

Support vertex shaders? Well that I'm not sure, but I do know it supports both the pretty water and sky; just not at the same time. Atmospheric shaders cancels out water.

I have an older NVidia card (6800 Ultra) and it works fine.
Although I sometimes have a nasty bug when I switch settings on and off (water is replaced with nasty TV-static hall of mirrors style effect until I TP away and back again).

I'm having similar water-rendering problems on Windlight, as are a collection of others.

Please visit these JIRA's logs for this issue, leave a comment, post your spec details and VOTE for it to be fixed!

Thank you for posting this. I have the same video card.

When I first installed the new windlight, I had horrid water and none of the presets seemed to work for me. After reading your post I turned off the atmospheric shaders and voila! lovely water :) the presets work! but then I lose the lovely sky :(

The 'GO' series is an onboard Graphics Chip which shares a certain amount of system ram. My guess is that either the system ram is full, or is not fast enough to render all elements, so one drops off.

I run a nVidia 7950GTX (XpertVision over clocking version) which does everything.

I had the same problem (on an NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M).
Installing the most recent drivers (from http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us ) fixed it.
