OK, since updating to the current Mac OS X Fl client clothing and avatar skins are not rendering unless I mouse over and focus my look at the resident. This will hold their textures as long as I keep them in focus, but once moving focus the textures seem to go back to the blurred, indeterminate look of a semi-loaded texture.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Logged back in using the regular client and all works properly.

I've been having this, and updating drivers and fiddling with bandwidth and clearing cache and other obvious fixes haven't fixed it.

Well, glad I'm not imagining things. As an update to the issue:

Textures that are applied to vedors are also having the same problem. Once I focus on the vendor it *usually* loads the texture. If it does not work, stepping back a few paces and forward seems to trigger the texture to DL.

Seems to be VERY specific to textures that are transient.

Details:
Mac OS X 10.4.8
Mac Book Pro Rev 1.1
1.83Ghz Intel Core Duo
2GB of RAM
128MB ATI x1600
100GB 5200RPM drive

details the same as before, except bumped to the 1.23.4.59315 release. Issue is still occurring.

NOTE after experimenting for a few minutes, the issue actually seems *worse*. As soon as you move focus to an other avatar, the previous avatar looses details completely, being a undifferentiated blob.

Isn't that odd. I was experiencing this up until 59036. Both this and 59315 seem to be far more reliable to completely rez in all textures. Wait times for busy sims seems much lower too.

Unfortunately, the 59xxx series has been extremely unstable on my wife's PC, so she still runs 58185. We're both on linux 2.6.27-11-generic w/ nVidia hardware (geforce MX4400/stable & geforce 6100/unstable)
