"full-bright" broken in Windlight

In Windlight, 1.16.0.62469 , the "full-bright" setting does not make my textures brighter ie immune to illumination, as it should, does in the main viewer, and always has.

Does anyone else see this fault ? All my "full-bright" textures go dim when I turn vertex shaders on in order to see the clouds (which for me are fine - in fact excellent ! ).

Actually - not all my textures lose fullbrightness - but those which have any transparency anywhere in them. Either an overall transparency setting, as on the edit setting (1% will do it). Or a partly transparent window in the texture when it was created.

So in a fullbright wall, for instance, any part which has a window goes dim and no longer matches the rest of the wall. Looks awful.

If not cured, this will ruin the look of builds and gadgets all over SL.

I have filed a bug report, which includes a simple description of how to reproduce it for yourself (ridiculously easy). It is report VWR-999

and can be found at
https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-999

If you see it too, it bugs you, and you want it fixed, you can vote for it on that page if you wish.

For me - its a killer.

Does any one else see it too ?

It's the opposite for me, full bright textures aren't affect at all by the windlight settings however, normal prim lights seem to have a muted effect (barely noticeable light source). the only way I know a prim light is working is if I turn it off and on to see the difference.

The prim lighting needs re-worked badly for windlight.
