"Run Multiple Threads" only works on Dual Core Processors???
I have read conflicting opinions on this in the First Look Group Channel.

True and False
The option will work, but will probably provide slightly slower experience on a single core machine, and may cause some corruption in graphics etc.
This is basically a single core processor can run one thread at a time and the secondlife application decides when to run each operation, if the option is selected the operations are run as soon as a thread becomes available, causing operations to happen out of order.
When running on dual core or greater machines, the other threads are spread out onto the other cores of the cpu, what most people will notice is a sudden burst of texture decoding, combined with faster rezzing of objects as the texture decoding has been offloaded from the primary core.

DOes this also apply to FIRST LOOK client? I run with both cores on. Some are still running with one core.....
