Flickering Sky

Is the sky supposed to flicker like Christmas tree lights? I'm guessing not. It goes from pitch black to sunny and back in seconds and I haven't been able to figure out how to stabilize it. I don't see clouds, either. Suggestions are more than welcome :)

I hadn't been able to log on to Sl since the latest update, crashing every 7 minutes, but I haven't had any issues with First Look and aside from the sky on crack, I think it looks great! :)

Maybe your day length timer is off? In the sky menu there is a sub menu for tweaking the day. Maybe if you choose Estate Default, it will put you back in the usual SL day.

I also have experienced the flickering. The day lasts about 2 minutes, then it's night. It's like lightning for a few seconds, then changes to night or day. I have turned on / double checked estate default, and also revert to region in force sun. No difference.

Is this something that only "plays" on the client side?

its a bug. The clouds are rendering black, and your sky flickers as the cloud density changes and the movement of the cloud layers.

The sky is there if you make a preset without clouds in windlight, you will see the sky then.

please vote for it on Jira and give your info, to make it a higher priority to fix.
