Hey everyone, sorry for asking, but I can't find the answer anywhere.. And when I downloaded and tried out First Look it just put me in Second Life, sos I just came to ask. What is First Look?

It's a new/test/beta copy of SecondLife that you can use to test out new features and performance improvements. I like it - my FPS has gone up almost 50%.

Yep. The current one, now in it's 4th or 5th version, is focused on rendering improvements - probably the reason that my FPS has gotten so much better.

I´ve tried First Look a few minutes ago, because I can´t login with the regular SL Viewer. Now I have a female shape!. What can I do abou tit?

Edit your appearence, close and don't save. If it doesn't change how you look, put on a different shape and then change back. I have this issue with the main client all the time (for the last...*blinks* 6 months?) I've not really found a good way to force it to fix (at least that I can remember at the moment) but as long as you don't save when you exit the edit appearence floater, you won't have to worry about it being changed for good. |
