Well let me explain my problem! Before 3 years i started playing Second Life!
I created an account on an email which was not my main email!
At First I didnt like second life so i gave up!

Now I came back to Second Life again, fortunately my sim isnt deleted because i was logging in month by month for that reason!

But my email expired because i never used it all this years (as i said it was not my main email) and now I can do nothing!I cannot change my password for example!

So I want to ask if it is possible that a Second Life Developer or someone in charge can transfer my account to my main email!

I'm trapped!Well I think this is possible to happen because when i tried to change my password ,where it says that "your email instructions will arrive shortly bla bla..." below this message there was a sentence just like this "Email no longer active?"

here is an image also!

Ty for your time!

Log in to your av, and change where the email is sent from there. It is in Preferences.

Sorry, I could not resist.

If you still need help, you should probably submit a support ticket. In fact there is a link to the Support area at the top of this page. Otherwise, the Lindens will not be able to help you from here.

And good luck.

Still not completely sure what the question is.

But, did you click where it says "Email no longer active" - the part you circled in red?

To change password, you only need to go to your account on the dashboard. It will ask your old one and then new one. For changing email, in the dashboard, it's under account and then contact information.

The dashboard being the thing you logged into when you got to the website.

Edit to correct herself:

1. Changing Password is under account/change password, it will ask for the old one and then new one.

2. Changing email is under account/contact information.. just put in the one you want and the password.

3. If you can't do either of those, go to the support part and submit a support ticket. The devs do not read the forums anymore. We made baby Linden cry...

Well firts of all ty all who answered to my problem!

Now Raudf Fox i found what you are talking about but i still have a problem!

I'm put on the new email that I want and the password of the new email and when I try to save changes i get that password is incorrect even though it is totally correct !(I cannot be that dump to mess up a six digit password :D )

So what any idea what I am doing wrong? Do I have to put an other password and not the one of the new mail? Because after many tries I tried putting on the password of my avatar even though it makes no sense but i got no luck with that also!

Well there are two options here!I am messing something up or the forum has a big malufaction!

Where it asks for "password" it means your Second Life account password, the one you use to log in to Second Life.

oke problem solved! As i said it was forums malufaction!

I was trying at first to give the password of the email but it prooved that this wanted the password of my avatar but when i tried to enter my avatars password it said again incorrect password!

The mistake was that my original was 22 digits and where it wanted me to enter the password could hold about only 10 digits so the password couldnt fit >.<!So I changed my pass to a smaller one and voila!problem solved!

Thx again to all of you!

*hugs* Great, glad this ended well!

Keep in mind, LL just gave us this new shiny dashboard, so things are now hidden from us again. I swear, they do this to keep themselves entertained.

The sim was still there after 3 years absence?? You were logging in month by month, but who was paying for it during all that time?

She probably means avatar. A lot of people who has played Sims or Sims online keeps referring to their avatars as sims. Old habits etc ..
