i have been trying to change my email address related to this account.
the message i get from the website is that my current password is not correct, therefore the change will not be allowed. my password IS correct, or i wouldn't be able to post here, or even access my account settings there in the first place. i changed my password, and it still won't allow me to change my email address.
can someone please tell me the secret behind getting this to work?

I have seen something about passwords for some sl functions being too long for validation in other functions. Try changing your password to the shortest possible length then try accessing your account settings again. Pep (No guarantees) _____________________

Try going to http://www.secondlife.com/account/contact.php and change it there.
When you come to the forums the first time it picks up your email address from there. So maybe you need to change it there. . _____________________
