Linden selling question

OK, I asked for a tier review so I could sell some of my linden on the lindex and was told:

"Billing Limits are according to the Billing Age of your account, which starts counting from the very first transaction with the Linden Lab."

For clarification, does this mean I have to first buy Linden from the Lindex before I can sell? If so, is there a certain amount I must first buy?

Yes I think you do have to buy before you can sell. (That's what I did.) And there's not, like, a minimum amount you have to buy before it "counts", but since the transaction fee for buying L is flat, it's best to buy as much as you can. (Since your limit is $10, I'd by $10 worth of L.)
