Sim question

as a new sim owner I realize there is much to learn, but one thing I am curious about is the image reflected on the map.
How often are these updated, is it something I need to do? Or does LL do this?
If this is my job can someone tell me how cause my map image has not changed in some weeks and it is not accurate so people tp into houses that are there now but were not before...

I have the same trouble. My sim is completely different from the map.

As far as I know its automatic and should change in a couple of days.

Hi, it's an automatic process that isn't working very well these days - it takes ages for the map to update - and no telling when. Sometimes weeks between updates. Anything below 400 meters altitude, roughly speaking, gets mapped.

Don't worry about a thing, it will come around, and I hear there is some priority on fixing the map update... no idea when they will do it though.

Yes it does take two weeks from the time you took ownership of your region. As I was told from someone on the Concierge team. But here’s a trick that worked for me, if you go into the live chat on the support page and then pose this question to them and then ask them nicely they can/may put in an update order for you to have it updated the next day. At least the lady I was chatting with was nice enough to do it for me.

I noticed that there were map updates for Mainland sims today. The sim where I have land at, Menisa, has finally updated after more than a month of no updates.
