SO! HOwm uch do you imbibe while using SL??

It really has nothing to do with SL - I usually have a glass or two of wine most evenings regardless of what I'm doing (and maybe a bottle or so on a weekend night ).

Going to sail and drink a good syrah...that sounds good for me.

And no drugs?

I've never drunk an been on SL.

However I have been a bit loopy from pain meds a few times

Me? Never. No, really, that was my evil twin that was climbing all over Cunundrum in that other thread. I'm stone cold sober all the time.

OK, so usually I have a glass or 2 of wine in the evenings on the weekends. My problem is I LOVE a good single malt Scotch or Irish whiskey. So I sip on it too fast and by the time I feel light headed it's too late. I already have enough in me to put me way over the line. Then I start holding froth like a southern preacher on Easter Sunday.

Being loopy is very common among people here and they're not even on meds.

I can neither confirm no deny the consumption of a fine Kentucky sippin' whisky whislt on SL. My jokes get dirtier, but let's face it - I'm so messed up when I'm sober that there really isn't much difference when I've been drinking.

The last time I really messed up my back I logged on while on pain meds. That was weird. I have sort of a hazy memory of the whole thing. I'm pretty sure I said some really stupid stuff.

Kentucky is fine; no criticism from me. But do yourself a favor and switch over to Tennessee sippin' whiskey. Jack Daniels forever!

Maker's Mark or Knob Creek on the rocks, please. Although, there's nothing wrong with Jack Daniels. I actually have a barrel at Maker's mark with my name on it. They have an ambassador program - sort of a loyal customer thing - where they send you some free stuff and put your name on a plaque on one of their barrels I think I get first shot at buying a bottle from my barrel. At least I hope I do. I'm buying it anyway - might as well have a special bottle.

If I've been to the store in the past week or so, there's a good bet I've got a chardonnay or a cabernet in front of me. Typical California wine country stuff - gooooood stuff and not expensive either.

But after about a week the bottle is gone, so then it's a matter of how motivated I've been to go back to Trader Joe's or whatever.

Oddly, Caledon's expansion bursts might roughly correspond to the overall timing...

When I was three weeks old, I made the HUGE mistake of mixing a pain med with booze and thought that playing sl would be fun while so... "messed up" I don't recall anything from that night but when I logged in the next day, I was naked in some guys hottub AND partnered to him! *groans* I logged back out right after de partenering and stayed away from sl for almost a month..by the time I returned he was gone, or alted out...that was the last time I have ever done that and I will never do it again.

I don't drink. Why pay good money to act stupid when I can do it without help?

I just don't drink that much (two glasses and I'm ready for bed), but yes, a glass of red something or another is nice for the evening post building chatting. I find it fairly immersive to be at a virtual "pub" with your friends and have said glass? And you need not worry about calling the cab!

Never been drunk in SL. I usually drink wine while I'm cooking, not so much while I'm eating. I'll have a beer or two while inworld, usually on week-ends.

Whatever stupid thing I may have said in the past was said while sober.

As for RL - Ahh, the stories I could tell...

No, but I have seen you on quite the sugar high after the ice cream, 3 lollypops, and a bag of skittles!
