Is it just me (maybe I should defrag..) or is the Forum a little slow lately..every time I hit a thread it seems to take a lifetime to connect. Type a reponse then hit enter and you're waiting an age...
What's going on..

I don't know what is wrong, but it is the same for me. Sometimes it won't load at all. I think it has been like this for days.

Remnants of this, probably:

http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/09/28/web-site-and-splash-screen-slowdowns/

It is much, MUCH better than it was on Friday, though.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

There have been a lot of 505 results when using the forums, which means 'Service Unavailable'... or 'LL webhosts are offline'.

Even after clearing cache in IE and deleting cookies etc, I still get the same messages more and more frequently of late. It ususally points to the database host for the forums, which is indicative of the other database issues plaguing LL (inventories dissapearing, slow updating etc) I only hope they don't all reside on the same server.

I'd raise that a 'much' .. heck! I had error reports Friday.

Be sure to type slowly. Otherwise you'll gum up the works.

I assumed it was left over from the 503 errors we were getting. I added another comment to the JIRA on those errors saying that even though it appears the errors have gone away it is now taking a very very long time to load ever 2nd or 3rd forum page.

I did notice that I can sometimes get the page to load immediately by just stopping and restarting the load.

lol, it went dark blue and white. I sometimes see that when a page is loading, but it usually goes away in a second, so I'm guessing they're the default colors.

I haven't had that happen today but the other day it was happening constantly. Wasn't bad looking actually.

I've always been one to choose style over function.
